Founded in 2015 by four developers, Gravitee now powers API and event stream ecosystems for enterprises like Michelin, Roche, and Blue Yonder—driving digital transformation and enabling innovation at scale.As a Software Engineer, you will be part of an engineering team dedicated to making Gravitee’s products best in class both in terms of features and in UX. This is a hands-on, critical role in the organisation and is highly technical. The right candidate will enjoy problem-solving with clients in a highly specialised way. Your daily responsibilities: Interact with the Product Owner to help define the future of the productsDevelop new end-to-end features: from design to implementation (building and integrating APIs as well as the front-end interfaces and visualizations that bring them to life)Collaborate with team members to design, maintain, and improve product featuresParticipate in Tech Sprints focused on enhancing the existing codebaseShare your knowledge—technical and non-technical—during internal knowledge-sharing sessionsPrioritize issues and support customers across multiple countries and time zones, ensuring they can successfully implement our platform in their environmentsCreate knowledge articles that enrich our documentation and help customers better understand product use casesInnovate within the team and with customers to improve processes and toolsAssist the support team to ensure customers have the best possible experience with the products We need you to have:5+ years of professional experience in application developmentFluency in modern versions of Java, with proven use in large-scale backend applicationsHands-on experience building UI applications with TypeScript and Angular (or another modern web framework)Strong understanding of the value of automated testing to prevent regression bugsA passion for sharing knowledge and a commitment to continuous learningCuriosity and willingness to engage in all aspects of a project, including CI, dependency management, and vulnerability managementPatience, resilience, and excellent problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail, delivering accurate solutions for both internal and external stakeholders Essential technical skills:Backend Skills : Java 17, Spring (Data, Security etc.)Database knowledge : JPA, JDBC, Spring DataTesting: JUnit 5Frontend Skills: Angular 17Relational Databases (Tools) : MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL or something equivalentMessaging: Kafka, JMS, RabbitMQ, Solace, MQTT or something equivalentContinuous Integration and Deployment: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCDBuild Automation Tools: Maven, Yarn Our offer:In addition to great company and challenging projects, we can offer much much more, i.e.knowledge sharing within our companyagile and friendly atmosphere, non-violent communication and full respect for diversitypossibility to choose from onsite (in Lodz, Poland) or hybrid work (in our office in Łódź city center)Remuneration: 1200-1400 PLN daily (B2B contract)
