Accounting Lead with SpanishIn Cyclad we work with top international IT companies in order to boost their potential in delivering outstanding, cutting edge technologies that shape the world of the future. We are looking for an Accounting Lead fluent in Spanish language to build and develop our local SSC finance team, transfer knowledge from Mexico and drive process excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in process mapping, transitions and process automation with the ability to lead accounting operations and implement best practices. Project information:Industry: ManufacturingLocation: Katowice, hybrid working model (1 day remotely per week)Languages: Spanish & EnglishType of employment: long-term contract of employmentSalary: 16000 - 20000 PLN gross (depending on the candidates' experience) Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day accounting activities across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Fixed Assets and Intercompany transactionsPerform bookkeeping, prepare financial reports and support tax settlementsRecord, reconcile and monitor intercompany balances, ensuring timely settlements and compliance with group policiesVerify accuracy of accounting entries, including VAT deductions and classification of tax-deductible costsEnsure compliance of all accounting processes with internal procedures, statutory requirements and IFRS/local GAAPSupervise and maintain the chart of accounts and accounting policiesProcess and reconcile vendor invoices, employee expenses and travel settlementsSupport customer invoicing, payment allocation and credit control activitiesManage accounting records for fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation and disposalsIndependently prepare journal entries and perform GL reconciliationsAssist with month-end and year-end closing, including intercompany confirmationsPrepare financial statements, management reports and group reporting deliverablesPartner with other departments to provide accounting and tax expertiseLead and participate in projects focused on process optimization, automation and knowledge transferRequirements:University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related fieldMinimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting (GL, AP, AR, Intercompany - all of the areas)Strong transition experienceSolid knowledge of CIT/VAT regulations and the Accounting ActFamiliarity with IFRS/local GAAP standardsHands-on experience with SAP FI moduleStrong command of English and Spanish (spoken and written)Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skillsWe offer:Stable employment in a company with a strong market positionOpportunities for professional development in an international environmentPrivate healthcare packageLife insuranceAccess to a sports cardBenefit program1 day of HO per week & flexible working hoursOpportunity to build and shape a finance team and drive impactful process improvements
