  • Team Leadership: Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable team.
  • Process Expertise: Ensure thorough knowledge of supplier invoicing, payment terms, VAT, WKR, and BUA requirements.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in Navision.
  • Data Management: Oversee accurate data transfer across AP systems
  • Reporting: Compile, analyze, and report AP metrics and KPIs to management.
  • Staff Development: Recruit, train, and manage the performance of new employees.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to AP procedures.
  • Invoice Processing: Ensure accuracy in G/L coding, tax coding, approvals, and timely payment for various types of invoices.
  • Leadership and Motivation: Foster a positive work environment, motivate the team, and set high standards in work ethics and culture.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a point of contact for the GL and AR teams, procurement, suppliers, external auditors, and managers across the company.
  • Monthly and Year-End Close: Execute month-end tasks, including accruals, bank reconciliation, and sub-ledger accuracy. Handle AP-related audit queries and manage confirmation letters for banks, legal advisors, and PO suppliers.
Team Leadership: Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the AP Team|Process Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Proven experience in leading and coaching an Accounts Payable team.
  • Strong communication and service orientation, with a focus on business and supplier relations.
  • Analytical skills with an understanding of the AP sub-ledger.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and solutions-focused.
  • Proficient in enforcing company policies and following standardized processes.
