Consumer Regulatory Compliance Analyst for North America

Remote Work Opportunity

Contract Duration: 12 months

The Regulatory Compliance Department is seeking an individual contributor to join the North America Regulatory Compliance Team. As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will work cross-functionally and independently with various departments to manage and act as a lead on Regulatory Projects and Customer requests. Your primary focus will be on processes, systems, and documentation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage regulatory compliance and quality information.
  • Support commercialization by completing regulatory information.
  • Ensure understanding and compliance with legislative requirements for technical and new product developments.
  • Approve product formulations, raw materials, and artwork to ensure compliance with legislative and customer requirements.
  • Respond to food legislation queries from internal customers.
  • Interpret, evaluate, and apply regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements to new and existing products.
  • Manage projects, develop internal procedures, and identify process improvements.
  • Provide training to other departments and customers to share regulatory information.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong knowledge of food product-related regulatory and quality information.
  • Degree in Food Technology or a closely related technical field.
  • Previous experience in the Food Industry.
  • Knowledge of DevEX, SAP, and advanced MS Office desirable.
  • Food law/JIFSAN certificate preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to effectively apply applicable regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Flexibility to work in rotation shifts (morning and afternoon).
