Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Financial Compliance Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting daily compliance monitoring and reporting utilizing Charles River Development's Compliance Master system. Your knowledge of investment restrictions and compliance monitoring will enable you to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

You'll need to be adaptable and navigate rapidly changing priorities successfully. Some key responsibilities include:

  • Daily and monthly monitoring of fund portfolios to ensure compliance with regulatory documentation guidelines, adhering to departmental schedules.
  • Reviewing reports from the compliance monitoring system, taking proactive steps to communicate any compliance issues and develop resolutions.
  • Completing testing on rules set up through Charles River Development and researching inquiries that may arise.
  • Assisting the Fund Administration Compliance Supervisor and Manager in enhancing and automating the compliance function for manual areas.
  • Developing and maintaining a working familiarity with applicable laws, regulations, and interpretations governing mutual fund administration, including UCITS IV and SIF laws, and other requirements like CSSF circulars.
  • Performing special projects assigned by the Fund Administration Compliance Supervisor.
  • Developing methods to enhance procedures related to compliance monitoring.
  • Implementing and developing the automated compliance program and its enhancements.
  • Maintaining strong client service relationships.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience with Charles River Development's ComplianceMaster compliance monitoring system.
  • A minimum 4-5 years' experience in investment fund compliance.
  • A Master's degree in finance or a related field.
  • Familiarity with UCITS IV and SIF laws, and other applicable requirements like CSSF circulars.
