Global Regulatory Compliance Director

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Regulatory Compliance Director to lead our regulatory compliance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing regulatory compliance strategies, managing regulatory processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regulatory compliance strategies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage regulatory processes, including risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
  • Lead the regulatory compliance team to achieve agreed-upon key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Partner with regional regulatory business partners, global process owners, and regulatory COE teams to deliver ongoing efficiency improvements.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to expand services within the area of responsibility globally.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a regulatory, food science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5+ years in senior technical roles in the food industry and 5+ years in leadership.
  • Fluent English, knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Exposure to regulatory affairs and compliance in the food and flavors industries, including knowledge of food standards, microbiology, and food safety.
  • Proven effective business and project management, goal-oriented with a successful track record.
  • Ability to partner with various stakeholders to define common objectives and strategies to achieve business results.
  • Must have the ability to interact with all levels, demonstrate the ability to get things done through people.
  • Excellent customer service skills, relationship building, and leadership capabilities. Strong presentation and communication skills.
