Student Ambassador

Are you a motivated and enthusiastic student looking to make a difference on campus? As a Student Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting Student Life and promoting student engagement through various events and activities.
Main Responsibilities:
• Uphold the Ivy Tech Fort Wayne mascot brand, image, and persona, assuming the role of (Mascot) and representing the college at events and functions.
• Assist in planning, marketing, and facilitating student life events, meetings, and conferences, including event setup and coordination.
• Create and maintain Student Life printed and electronic materials, as well as update campus bulletin boards and postings.
Requirements:
• Current student in good standing with 12 credit hours accumulated Ivy Tech courses.
• Intermediate computer knowledge for applications like email, word processing, internet, spreadsheets, and audio visual software.
• Excellent public and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of Ivy Tech policies relating to Risk Management, Academic Standards, Finance, and Student Code of Conduct.
