We are looking for a seasoned Data Engineer to contribute to the evolution of our IQ Plus product. Our team leverages intelligence from the world's largest sustainability performance database to serve our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall design, architecture, and integration of our data systems, ensuring seamless data collection, ETL, and analytics pipelines. You will also be responsible for providing APIs in our ecosystem to help build user-facing applications on top of our data backends. As a Data Engineer, you will be working closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure the highest quality of our data products.


Responsibilities:



  • Design and architecture of data systems
  • Building, maintaining, and running secure cloud-native data collection, ETL, and analytics pipelines
  • Providing APIs in the ecosystem to support user-facing applications
  • Representing our data development and ensuring data quality and transparency
  • Engaging in data-driven development processes
  • Guiding the generation of synthetic and human-labelled training data and improving data collection and classification processes
  • Representing our company culture and values

Requirements:



  • Experience in data engineering using languages such as Python
  • High proficiency in cloud technologies and infrastructure such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS
  • Familiarity with Web-Scraping processes and frameworks
  • Experience with different data sources like NoSQL databases and Storage Backends
  • Experience with setups and maintenance of data lakes
  • Fun, self-motivated, proactive, and service-oriented personality with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
