Overview

IDG is a dynamic organization seeking an exceptional Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our team. This key role involves maintaining accurate general ledger accounts, reconciling financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision.
  • Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion.
  • Analyze variances to identify trends and discrepancies in financial performance.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles and regulations.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting initiatives.
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies, providing expert explanations.
  • Collaborate with external and internal auditors by providing detailed documentation and support.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, applying knowledge effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Lead and mentor subordinate GL Accountants, promoting professional growth.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within the GL department, preferably in a Big4 firm.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office tools, especially MS Excel.
  • Advanced English language skills (B2/C1), with other European languages being a significant advantage.
  • Experience with MS D365 and process transitions will be highly valued.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and location. Benefits
