Audit Manager Lead

GIA represents the third line of defence and provides independent assurance of the effectiveness of management's control of business activities, as well as the control processes maintained by the Risk Framework Owners and Policy Owners.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a Team Leader on assigned audit work involving GCM&AF, managing auditors to deliver the Audit Planning Memo, Controls Testing document, and obtaining factual accuracy of audit issues raised.
- Take responsibility for overseeing the delivery of high-quality audits, including finalising of audit issues and the audit report.
- Confirm that assigned audit work is executed in an efficient and effective manner, within the given budget and timelines, and in line with GIA methodology standards.
- Clearly identify the risks and impacts during audit issue identification, applying The Writer's writing style in both audit issues and audit report.
- Obtain quality management action plans to mitigate the risks identified and build and maintain engagement with stakeholders.
- Support PHo A in their role as the GIA portfolio/country subject matter expert, depending on the skills of the individual.
- Conduct trainings to socialise knowledge with the wider GIA team, ensuring that all audit issue action plans agreed during audit fieldwork are tracked through to completion in accordance with methodology requirements.
