Your Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining statistical forecasts for the portfolio across all time horizons. Key responsibilities include researching demand drivers, preparing forecast data, and evaluating forecast performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain statistical forecasts for the entire portfolio, considering demand drivers at the agreed hierarchy level.
  • Research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, and evaluate forecast performance.
  • Monitor and report on specific KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, forecast BIAS, MAPE, forecast value add) at multiple levels and lags, providing insights on contributing factors and improvement opportunities.
  • Select the best statistical model for forecast items that cannot be modeled by the system, considering seasonality, responsiveness, trend, and stability.
  • Contribute to promotion planning based on data insights.
  • Run machine learning forecasts and disaggregation to building blocks.
  • Runt automatic cleansing, ensuring final output (cleansed data) is completed in the system.
  • Generate historical demand performance reports and ensure all necessary actions are considered for forecasting.
Qualifications We Seek

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math, or other relevant fields. The ideal candidate should have strong understanding of advanced planning systems and their functionality, as well as knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDE.

Demonstrated experience in forecasting, including statistical techniques, collaboration scenario modeling, and parameters modeling, is essential. Strong analytical skills, exceptional drive, and excellent interpersonal skills are also required. The ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of client focus is crucial.
