About the Role


This exciting opportunity is for a talented Clinical Contract Manager to join our Global Clinical Contract Operations team at Boston Scientific.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage a team of Contract and Budget Specialists, supporting divisional clinical teams in creating, negotiating, and finalizing site agreements and budgets for medical device clinical trials.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and foster impactful partnerships.
  • Lead a group or team in achieving organizational goals, guiding, coaching, directing, and developing direct reports.
  • Provide formal day-to-day supervision, setting performance and productivity expectations, coaching on performance and development, and coordinating activities.
  • Emphasize team achievements and arrange rewards and celebrations.
  • Participate in the process of employee and contractor selection, collaborating with talent acquisition and related HR partners.
  • Act as reference manager for assigned studies, participating in study kickoff meetings, ensuring other C&B/FMV managers are informed, and participating in study core team calls.
  • Participate in resource forecasting, seeking information from divisional partners to facilitate accuracy.

Requirements



  • Prior experience and solid knowledge in managing clinical contracts and budgets.
  • Team leadership skills, with the ability to work with global interdisciplinary teams.
  • Fluent English and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think ahead, plan for the future, and identify opportunities and threats.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
