Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for BI IT-related matters, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Advocate for the SAP BI platform within the organization, highlighting its value in data collection, structuring, reporting, and KPI calculation.
  • Take on the role of product manager for selected BI IT applications, including budget management and controlling functions.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of BI IT products, ensuring they align with BI IT strategy and IT architecture guidelines.
  • Lead and support projects within the BI IT landscape, with a focus on Finance & Controlling.
  • Assist with customer and internal projects, from planning and implementation to production go-live.
  • Monitor interfaces and automated processes to ensure data integrity, performance, and timeliness.
  • Address risks or incidents by coordinating with relevant stakeholders (IT departments, customers, service providers).
  • Provide 2nd level support and handle tickets for incidents, troubleshooting, and change requests.
  • Offer IT-related consulting services to business units and Group customers regarding the BI platform.
  • Design and implement new reporting, analytics, and planning applications within the BI platform.
  • Customize applications based on technical/business needs, coordinate testing, and maintain documentation.
  • Contribute to automation and digitization efforts in BI IT, bringing your ideas and experience to our international team.
Requirements
  • Experience in using or implementing SAP BI tools (SAP BW 7.5, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere) with technical focus.
  • Experience in supporting and managing SAP applications in the BI environment.
  • Good understanding of BI data flows and processes.
  • Strong conceptual skills; problem-solving competence.
  • Project management.
  • Fluent English, German will be a plus.
