Job Summary

:

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and layout design, with the ability to develop design documents, including single lines, load lists, and equipment data sheets. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for promoting our leadership, quality, and safety values to external partners.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Perform electrical systems engineering activities, including the use of ETAP.
  2. Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of engineering discipline drawings and electrical discipline wiring diagrams, control logic diagrams, system descriptions, system calculations, 1-line and 3-line drawings, and schematics.
  3. Work under the direction of an Engineering Group Supervisor to ensure adherence to established procedures and quality standards.
  4. Conduct special tasks, calculations, and studies, as well as create user guides.
  5. Produce basic and higher-tier drawings and documentation in accordance with established conceptual design and scope.
  6. Perform checking as required to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  7. Properly interpret and apply codes and standards, as well as customer design requirements, for the preparation of electrical design documents, specifications, material requisitions, and system descriptions.
  8. Utilize Bechtel and industry-proven concepts, procedures, and tools to support electrical design tasks.
  9. Effectively communicate and work well with others and within a team.
  10. Able to understand and interpret local and European codes and standards.
  11. Support customer interactions with the Transmission System Operator through virtual workshops.
  12. Provide additional support to the customer in the interactions with the TSO.
  13. Coordinate with Polish sub-contractor and review sub-contractor deliverables to support electrical design.
  14. Demonstrate experience working collaboratively with a team and providing support as needed.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  1. Level 1: BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college with 9 years of related electrical engineering experience.
  2. Level 2: BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college with 13 years of related electrical engineering experience.
  3. Authorized to live and work in country without sponsorship.
  4. Ability to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Professional Engineering License (Electrical).
  2. Experience working with quality assurance programs such as ASME-NQA-1, MIL-Q-9858A, or ISO-9000.
  3. Knowledge of industry and regulatory guides, codes, and standards.
  4. Hands-on experience with Microsoft office programs and other computer programs.
  5. Extensive knowledge of ANSI/IEEE Standards.
  6. Extensive knowledge of local and European codes and standards.
  7. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and electrical equipment layouts.
  8. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, systems calculations, equipment sizing, and cable sizing.
  9. Hands-on or extensive working knowledge with ETAP and other industry-wide electrical system design tools, such as CAD 2D, cable designing, and routing software.
  10. Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
