At Helprise, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst DACH to join our Regional Controlling organization. This critical role is responsible for ensuring compliance with US GAAP, statutory and tax requirements in Germany and Austria.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of complex accounting matters, quick problem-solving skills, and excellent collaboration skills with finance and non-finance teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Controlling team in the execution of US GAAP, statutory and tax accounting.
  • Preparing financial statements and reports for entities under your purview, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, internal and external audit requirements, and local regulations.
  • Collaborating with finance and non-finance teams and external vendors to execute end-to-end financial processes.
  • Resolving complex accounting and tax issues.
  • Participating in local, regional, and global projects as required.
  • Being an advocate for the finance function and focusing on continuous process improvement.

Requirements include:

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a multinational environment or in audit.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP, and tax issues.
  • Master's degree in Finance/Accounting or ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills with a diplomatic and flexible attitude.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken (German desirable).
  • Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with JDE, Blackline, and W-Desk is an advantage.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Availability to work extra hours at critical times such as month end and occasional holidays.
