About the Role:

MyGwork is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust analytics solutions in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design end-to-end analytics solutions in OCI.
  • Leverage your expertise in OBIEE, ODI, BIApps, OAC, OAS, Fusion Analytics Warehouse, and OCI services to architect scalable, performant, and reliable analytics solutions.
  • Build and configure OCI-based analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
  • Optimize performance by fine-tuning queries, implementing caching strategies, and designing efficient data models.
  • Work closely with data engineering teams to define and implement data integration workflows using ODI and other relevant tools.
  • Ensure seamless extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources into the analytics environment.
  • Provide ongoing support for deployed analytics solutions, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data accuracy, system performance, and user access.
  • Monitor system health, proactively identify, and resolve potential bottlenecks, and ensure high availability and reliability of the analytics environment.
  • Implement and enforce data security controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain data governance frameworks and policies to ensure data quality, integrity, and privacy within the analytics ecosystem.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including business users, data analysts, and IT teams, to understand requirements, gather feedback, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to team members on OCI OBl Analytics best practices and emerging trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) working with Oracle OCI, OBIEE, ODI, BIApps, OAC, OAS, and Fusion Analytics Warehouse.
  • Strong expertise in building, optimizing, and supporting analytics solutions in OCI.
  • Have hands-on experience in implementing/supporting Oracle Business Intelligence Applications for heterogeneous sources like EBS/Siebel/Taleo/Fusion Cloud.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and data modelling concepts.
  • Have experience and in-depth understanding of Data Model and Business process functionality and its data flow in Oracle Business Intelligence Applications.
  • Solid understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.
  • Experience in writing efficient and optimizing code and understanding of performance tuning techniques in the ETL tools used in OBIA such as Informatica and ODI.
  • Have development experience in extending the out of the box OBIA code using Type-1, Type-2 customizations.
  • Have experience of RPD modelling (All 3 layers) using the OBIEE Administration Tool.
  • Have experience in Report/Dashboard development using OBIEE.
  • Design & Development of ETLs using Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator either within the OBIA or standalone.
  • Design & Development of RPD/Reports/Dashboards using OBIEE.
  • Monitor the ODI or Informatica ETL Jobs and address any failures in a quick manner to ensure the Analytics data is current.
  • Monitor the OBIEE Agents and Report jobs and address any failures.
  • Develop and execute complex SQL queries to analyze data issues end to end.
  • Perform data validations from the OBIEE Reports to the respective Source systems and consolidate the data.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.
