Job Title: Group Demand Planner

Location: Finsbury Food Group sites in the UK

Work Days: Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent

As a Group Demand Planner, you'll play a critical role in forecasting demand and ensuring the effective production and delivery of our products to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and prepare forecast data to inform business decisions
  • Measure and monitor demand forecast accuracy, working closely with commercial teams to drive improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and reconcile forecasts based on external influences
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand forecast drivers and optimize supply chain performance
  • Utilize demand planning software, such as Optimity, to analyze and optimize demand forecasts
  • Work as part of a wider end-to-end supply chain team to drive business growth and improvement
  • Embrace the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to provide unconstrained demand plans and drive business decisions

Requirements:

  • Experience in demand planning and supply chain optimization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in demand planning software and tools
