About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Commercial Risk department in Cracow. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating finance activities and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify information received from insurers against system records
  • Perform calculations using available system information
  • Analyze booking differences, brokerage and commission differences, and manage intercompany payments
  • Work closely with local teams to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Collaborate with team coordinator and team members to meet service level agreements
  • Suggest and implement changes to tools and documentation to support effective service delivery
  • Transition processing scope to a newly built team in Krakow, Poland
  • Develop, track, and report metrics and performance on various business situations and projects

Requirements

  • English and Dutch language skills at a +B2 level
  • 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting
  • Strong Excel skills and analytical skills with a focus on technical accounting rules
  • Ability to manage high volumes of transactions in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with high accuracy and integrity
  • Ability to communicate with upper-level management and external customers
  • Flexibility and openness to new challenges and tasks
  • Willingness to improve and automate work
