Job Summary:

The Trade Compliance Analyst will play a key role in supporting customs compliance activities for the EMEA region and collaborating with various functions within the company to prevent and resolve issues that could lead to border delays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support for daily operations, including responding to requests related to new item creations and manual shipments, such as customs classification, country of origin determination, customs value, free trade agreements, and export control regulations.
  • Participate in working groups as needed and contribute to defining Global Trade Compliance standards and procedures for Markem-Imaje, as well as their implementation through awareness-raising and training for various stakeholders.
  • Conduct audits and controls related to Trade Compliance processes and procedures, and lead corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Degree in International Trade, Customs, Supply Chain, Logistics, Brokerage, or equivalent field/qualifications.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations (EU) for import and export.
  • Team spirit and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Open-minded, result-oriented, proactive, attentive, and detail-oriented, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change, manage priorities, and complete tasks until delivery.
  • IT agility (Microsoft Office Pack, SAP is a plus).
  • Fluent English.
