Job Title: Associate, Fund Valuation II

BNY Mellon is seeking a highly skilled Associate, Fund Valuation II to join our Fund Accounting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and calculating accurate Net Asset Values (NAVs) across all funds in accordance with BNY Mellon standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that NAVs are calculated accurately and in a timely manner
  • Supervise the preparation and calculation of NAVs across all funds with zero error tolerance
  • Ensure that NAV figures are accurately communicated to the relevant parties
  • Supervise fund administrators to ensure accurate and timely processing of relevant accounting events
  • Ensure that standard procedures and controls are adhered to on a daily basis by all staff under supervision
  • Report any significant operational issues to a manager
  • Ensure that client concerns and requests are addressed on time
  • Maintain a professional rapport with clients and all relevant parties
  • Ensure that audit queries are accurately and fully responded

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience, preferably in finance related area
  • Third level qualification, preferably in business related discipline
  • Strong financial knowledge, especially relating to financial instruments
  • Very good English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
  • Being well organized at work
  • Analytical skills
  • Responsibility for your tasks, timeliness and reliability
