The Global Centre Finance in Gdynia, Poland delivers high-quality services to European countries related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Record-to-Report processes. These services are rendered in close collaboration with the GSS Finance Regional Centres, together developing the Global Shared Service Finance function for DNV.

We are seeking a Financial Accountant Assistant for the Global Centre GSS Finance based in Gdynia, Poland. The successful candidate will report to the Accounts Payable Team Leader and be part of a team of accountants overseeing all account payable duties of a given geographical region.

To succeed in this role, you should be a team player with the ability to create an atmosphere of motivation and enthusiasm to be part of building up the Global Centre. You will play a key role in service implementation of the accounts payable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and submit invoices for approval
  • Verify invoices with orders and receipts
  • Investigate discrepancies and take action to resolve
  • Support with weekly payment of vendors
  • Support with follow-up with internal and external suppliers on rejected invoices
  • Support with reconciliation of Accounts Payable statements if any dispute or overdue invoices
  • Follow up on vendor credit
  • Cooperation with GL and AR teams
