Global Sales Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Sales Development Manager to join our team at Axis Communications.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing a team of sales professionals in Central Europe. This is an on-site role based in Warsaw, Poland with opportunities to work from home.
Main Responsibilities:
- To manage and develop the sales strategy for the assigned area, working closely with the sales manager and other functions to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- To establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, system integrators, end customers, and technology partners.
- To interact with clients indirectly through the team or directly if capacity allows.
- To manage project pipelines and handle project pricing within set guidelines.
- To provide monthly input and forecast, including performance metrics and other initiatives.
- To monitor processes that improve efficiency in the assigned area.
- To participate in trade shows and exhibitions, driving follow-up activities to maximize sales returns.
Team Leadership:
- To coach, hire, and lead a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Inside Sales Account Managers (ISAMs).
- To be responsible for the performance management of direct reports, identifying areas for development and learning.
- To set team goals and SMART Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monitoring individual contributions to the goals.
- To take decisions in complex sales situations and address conflicts and underperformance in line with our core values.
- To share ideas and best practices within the team and organization.
Requirements:
- A degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
- 5+ years of sales and management experience in B2B, with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding quarterly revenue expectations.
- Understanding of the marketing landscape, account planning, and complex sales negotiation.
- Motivation, proactivity, and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
- High integrity and self-awareness, able to professionally handle conflicts with customers or colleagues.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and follow-through skills.
- Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
- Fluency in Polish and English language, written and spoken.
Compensation Package:
The estimated salary for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
