About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team at The Customization Group. As a key member of our SCRUM team, you will collaborate closely with front-end developers, QA testers, and stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based applications, systems, and software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within SCRUM teams to develop new features and maintain existing software.
  • Contribute to the development of new features in partnership with the front-end team.
  • Continuously update and maintain existing software to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to stay aligned on project goals.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues to ensure smooth application operation.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in software development.
  • Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of Java EE, including advanced proficiency in Java versions 8 and 17.
  • Application Development: Expertise in building applications with JSF, Servlets, and RESTful web services.
  • Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with essential tools like Maven, Git, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, SQL, Spring, Terraform, and AWS.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to facilitate effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Interest in AI: Enthusiasm for AI technologies and their applications in improving processes and integrations.
