We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Automation Engineer to join our Mobile Development team at Splunk Inc. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing comprehensive QA automation strategies for iOS and Android platforms.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading automation efforts, proposing and implementing automation strategies that align with our mobile development goals, evaluating existing testing tools and technologies, and collaborating with development teams to understand their needs and technical challenges.

You will also serve as a key technical contact between the QA team and other departments, including Product Development and User Experience, to continuously improve the quality and functionality of our mobile applications.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ Years Experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years of experience in mobile application testing.
  • Expertise in Mobile Automation: Proficient with Appium or similar mobile testing frameworks (e.g. Robot Framework, Espresso, XCTest).
  • Programming Skills: Strong coding skills in languages such as Kotlin, Python, or Swift, capable of writing scalable and maintainable automation scripts.
  • Experience with SauceLabs.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Development Environments: Extensive knowledge of mobile development platforms, SDKs, and the mobile release process on both iOS and Android.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to articulate technical details and project requirements effectively to both technical and non-technical team members.

Nice-to-have Qualifications:

  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and familiarity with tools such as GitLab, Jenkins or CircleCI.
  • Knowledge of additional automation tools and frameworks that complement Appium.
  • Prior experience with performance and security testing for mobile applications.
  • Prior experience with test management software like TestRail.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and participation in Agile teams.
  • Understanding of the latest trends in mobile technology and testing, including cloud-based mobile testing solutions.

What You'll Get:

  • A competitive base pay range of PLN 148,000 - 203,500 per annum, based on factors such as work location and experience.
  • In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
