As Senior Occupancy Planner, you will be responsible for providing strategic occupancy planning expertise, leveraging a deep understanding of client space supply and demand to develop scenario and occupancy plans for our client's portfolio in a designated region.

Fostering Critical Relationships

  • Corporate Real Estate: Review and resolve planning forecast requirements, concerns, and issues
  • Business Unit leadership: Collect headcount forecasts and resolve discrepancies between their numbers and group-level numbers
  • CORPORATE FINANCE GROUP: Gather top-down headcount and growth projections
  • Project management: Review planning strategies that drive construction projects and support implementation
  • Move coordination and facility management teams: Review and approve moves, develop migration plans, and conduct facility audits
  • OCCUPANCY PLANNING TEAM MEMBERS: Ensure the development of portfolio strategy plans across separate locations

Driving Optimal Occupancy Planning Solutions

Your primary focus areas will be managing occupancy plans, sequencing group-level and individual moves, and resolving planning issues identified during client planning sessions. You will ensure alignment with corporate guidelines and maximize space use. You will recommend, educate, and enforce space policies/standards, procedures, and protocols, notify the client of customer-requested exceptions, and assist in developing site-specific planning strategies with senior leadership. You will be a subject matter expert in the client's workplace program and utilize data to drive solutions increasing productivity.

  • Expert-level data analytical skills and ability to articulate stories through data
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy – particularly numbers and spatial creativity
  • Highly organized and demonstrates high performance in project budgeting and scheduling
  • Working knowledge of occupancy utilization, office design principles, and trends such as mobile or collaborative workplaces is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, Construction Management, or related field is preferred

We offer an estimated annual salary of $80,000-$120,000 depending on experience, based on national averages in the United States. This role allows you to thrive in a dynamic environment, work independently, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver results-driven solutions.
