Job Title: Transport Planning Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily with Customer Service, Sales, Warehousing, and Freight Forwarders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Process transport requests according to customer requirements, handling inbound and outbound flows across all modes of transportation, including road and sea.
  • Set up pick-up and delivery appointments, prepare and check transport-related and customs clearance documentation.
  • Receive and create transport orders within our delivery promise framework, confirming details with vendors.
  • Handle customers' delivery documentation and monitor shipment statuses, acting on any observed deviations and coordinating communication with shipping and receiving carriers.
  • Report escalated matters to line management in a timely manner.
  • Support the implementation of new processes by providing feedback and testing new solutions.
  • Contribute to the effective implementation of logistics procedures, policies, and standards concerning the handling of transport-related claims.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of English (minimum B2 level).
  • Willingness to travel to offices.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position (Logistics or Transportation) - preferred.
  • SAP system knowledge or other scheduling systems - preferred.
  • Excel knowledge - intermediate.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and action-oriented approach.
