Job Description:

The Payroll Leader for EMEA Region will oversee day-to-day payroll procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing of EMEA payroll. This role involves maintaining standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency of payroll operations within the EMEA region and in alignment with global standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and minimum of 7 years of progressive payroll experience with at least 5 years in a lead or supervisory role overseeing EMEA payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations within the EMEA region
  • Partner with other EMEA functional leads to ensure the accuracy of all payroll data including all aspects of record-keeping, withholding, reporting, reconciliation, and auditing
  • Work closely with external payroll vendors to maintain positive relationships to support ongoing collaboration
  • Provide training and mentoring to the EMEA operational payroll team
  • Ensure employee inquiries are promptly resolved within the EMEA region
  • Review EMEA payroll reports and ensure accurate and timely filing with appropriate governmental authorities
  • Support payroll-related special projects, including payroll system implementations, process improvements and integration of new countries and entities
  • Execute EMEA operational controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
