Job Purpose

The Flow Control Product Lead Engineer is responsible for defining and leading engineering solutions within a SSE project taskforce, focusing on either manifolds or subsea distribution equipment. This role acts as a technical and technological referent, adhering to TechnipFMC standards, procedures, and processes, while prioritizing quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise on technical-technological solutions and engineering innovations to drive project success.
  • Identify and analyze engineering-related risks to ensure proactive mitigation.
  • Contribute to client relations through presentations, meetings, and interfaces, establishing strong collaboration.
  • Support knowledge development within the discipline by providing guidance, training, and mentoring to engineers.
  • Ensure engineering documents meet general quality requirements, codes, and standards.
  • Coordinate and direct engineering work performed for the project, including direct supervision of Subsea/Surface Engineers.
  • Ensure discipline engineering deliverables comply with contract requirements, project QHSE plans, and TechnipFMC processes and standards.
  • Interface with Lead Engineers and project support functions, such as procurement and planning.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering or equivalent with 7-10 years of experience, including 3+ years of project engineering.
  • Advanced project management skills.
  • Skillful communicator and negotiator.
  • Excellent training and mentoring skills.
  • Advanced planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work within an international team.
