Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud AI team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI-powered software solutions for Google Cloud customers.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain large-scale software systems, leveraging your expertise in object-oriented design, programming concepts, and server-side web frameworks.

You will also be responsible for contributing to the development of AI-driven components for Google Cloud Platform, working with internal partner teams and external customers to understand and deliver on requirements.

We are looking for a talented engineer who can bring quality focus to the team and help advance the line on better quality and support for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical lead for the team.
  • Contribute to a large program within AppEco, that includes launching and delivering AI driven components for Google Cloud Platform.
  • Work with both internal partner teams and external customers to understand and deliver on the requirements.
  • Bring quality focus to the team, and help advance the line on better quality and support for our customers.
  • Build and maintain a healthy relationship with the GCP developer community (internal developers).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of coding experience in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • 5 years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, Python, Objective C, JavaScript, or Go.
  • Experience in Object-Oriented Design and programming concepts.
  • Experience with server-side web frameworks such as JSP or ASP.Net.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux, distributed systems, machine learning, information retrieval, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, network programming or developing large software systems, Security software development, mobile application development, natural language processing.
