Cloud Data Architect Snowflake Expert

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Architect proficient in designing and implementing scalable data architectures on Snowflake and AWS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in architecting data warehouses, designing ETL workflows, and optimizing data storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient data processing systems using distributed frameworks like Snowflake to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • Develop data pipelines to ingest data from various sources such as databases, APIs, or streaming platforms and transform it into a compatible format for the target data model.
  • Optimize data storage architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, or distributed file systems, by implementing techniques like partitioning, compression, or indexing to enhance data retrieval speed and system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and provide well-structured and optimized data for analysis and modeling purposes.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of professional experience in Data & Analytics area.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services (S3, RDS, Redshift, etc.) and familiarity with other clouds is an asset.
  • Advanced level knowledge of Snowflake and its capabilities.
  • Knowledge of DBT is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile (Scrum) methodology and capable of delivering results independently or as part of a team.
  • Passion for cloud-based Data & Analytics solutions.
  • English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
