Payment Accountant with Czech Language Expertise

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute third-party supplier payments in accordance with legal entity internal policies and procedures, ensuring accurate supplier bank details and processing T&E payments.
  • Post transactions from bank statements and reconcile rejected payments.
  • Archive backup documentation for audit purposes, including documents and approvals.
  • Provide cash flow forecasts and actuals to Corporate Treasury and other stakeholders, as well as various payment analysis within a period.
  • Complete and submit quarterly Treasury Reports and monthly Cash Reports to Corporate Treasury.
  • Assist with month-end close and general processing as needed, including bank reconciliation and archiving bank statements and proof of payments.
  • Support internal or external audits and contribute to process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, field personnel, and accounts payable to support vendor payment terms and disbursements.
  • Cash management activities.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Economic Studies.
  • Accounting and G/L knowledge.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a Shared Service Center/BPO environment.
  • Knowledge of vendor master data verification.
  • Expertise in SEPA payments and domestic payments.
  • Knowledge of SAP highly desirable.
  • Excel skills at an intermediate level or higher.
  • Fluency in English and Czech, with the ability to work in another foreign language a plus.
