At Caterpillar, we're seeking a talented IT Applications Analyst to strengthen our global team of IT professionals. As an IT Applications Analyst, you'll play a critical role in identifying and implementing automation opportunities within existing processes, developing end-to-end process automation solutions, and assisting departmental customers with IT-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation solutions to improve process efficiency
  • Assist customers with IT-related issues and provide technical support
  • Document effective IT solutions and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to current tools and systems
  • Develop metrics and dashboards for multiple purchasing groups
  • Work directly with customers to analyze data and provide insights

Requirements:

  • Completed education in related fields
  • Strong skills in data analysis and process optimization
  • Programming expertise in VBA and SQL (PowerAutomate, C#, ASP.net, and PowerBI knowledge is a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
