How you will create an impact:
  • You will play a crucial role in supporting our hybrid-cloud transformation and serve as a subject matter expert for relevant Azure products.
  • You will utilize public cloud services (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS) to meet growing business requirements.
  • You will optimize efficiency using scripting, templates, automation, and IaC.
  • You will stay up-to-date with industry knowledge of relevant technologies and implement industry and security best practices when deploying solutions.
  • You will manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including resource provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and vulnerability remediation.
  • You will actively monitor systems and services, providing incident escalation response.
  • You will analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
  • You will contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • You will provide strategy and guidance for MS Azure governance & security.
  • You will serve as a mentor to less experienced IT colleagues.
About the role:
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cloud Engineer with around 5 years of overall relevant experience in an enterprise environment.
  • You should have extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure infrastructure solutions as well as the design, deployment, and support of large, complex systems.
  • You will have successfully managed IT projects and have hands-on experience with Cloud DevOPS tools & processes (Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, etc.).
  • You should have good written and verbal communication skills in business English.
  • You will be proactive and have excellent problem-solving ability.
  • You should bring great time management and organizational skills and be able to work independently and as part of a diverse, international team.
  • A Bachelor's degree in IT or a similar qualification is required, and any current industry certifications are a plus.
Estimated salary: €80,000 - €110,000 per year.
