Private Equity Department
The Private Equity Team is based across multiple locations, including Dublin, Luxembourg, and New York. Your role will involve regular communication with global offices and partnering with colleagues and senior team members. This allows you to gain a wide range of experience and foster strong working relationships. We have an open and collaborative approach, empowering you to learn continuously and focus on complex work as your experience progresses.
Job Description
A Private Equity Fund Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the closed-end fund accounting process within HedgeServ's guidelines and procedures. They will manage the timely and accurate delivery of NAV calculations, assist in client relationship development, and require a detailed understanding of service requirements for closed-end fund administration.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Private Equity team, including capital call and distribution processing, investor allocations, and performance reporting.
- Prepare net asset value calculations and financial statements, and manage client relationships involving interaction with clients and Private Equity Directors.
- Ensure the assigned accounting team operates within the defined control environment, manage and develop client teams, and resolve fund accounting enquiries.
- Develop and improve workflows and procedures, review fee calculations, and manage the audit process.
- Investigate accounting implications of new products, manage client onboarding and transition, and participate in fund accounting training.
- Manage private equity recruitment and performance evaluations, and foster a collaborative team environment.

Education:
Accounting, Finance, Legal, or Business Degree. Intention to pursue a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA) is an advantage.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a Hedge Fund Administration Firm with at least 2 years at supervisor level is desired. Alternative Hedge Fund experience may be considered.
