**Job Title:** IT Governance and Compliance Specialist

**Salary:** The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000, depending on location and experience.

**Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Governance and Compliance Specialist to join our Engineering Foundation Platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the application you own is safe, secure, resilient, and available, as well as ensuring infrastructure and services adhere to compliance, control standards, and KCI requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Foster a compliance-first culture across the organization and ensure engineering teams are aligned with and informed of changes in the control landscape.
  • Participate in various governance, compliance, and controls forums and projects, representing the service(s) you own or support.
  • Identify and present risk factors and impact to Business Owners while executing risk remediation activities in collaboration with responsible technical teams.
  • Drive governance and ensure completion of activities related to releasing services into production from a governance perspective.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in IT governance, compliance, or service management/ownership roles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues, analyze solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details, with ability to handle multiple governance and compliance-related tasks.
  • Strong Communication Skills to provide clear governance direction and guidance to project teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
