Coveris Management GmbH is a leading European packaging company seeking an experienced Financial Controller to support its local site in Bialystok. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in controlling and/or accounting.

• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
  
• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of sales and margins per customer, product group, and market.
  
• Operational Control: Run analysis and challenge production results, production costs, and cost variances.
  
• Communication: Report site results to plant management, corporate operations management, and corporate controlling.
  
• Strategic Planning: Participate in the development of strategic alternatives, their evaluation, and implementation.
  
• Process Improvement: Drive continuous process improvements in all administrative areas.
  

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 
  
• A degree in business studies with a focus on controlling and/or accounting.
  
• Professional experience in controlling in a production company, preferably in sales controlling.
  
• Knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS financial statement preparation.
  
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  
• Strong analytical skills and ability to drive change.
  
• Self-motivation and ability to prioritize tasks.
