Job Overview

Our Quality Assurance (QA) Teams are responsible for all aspects of Quality Management, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. This includes developing and implementing quality plans, programs, and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.

As a Supervisor in our Incoming Quality Assurance team, you'll be responsible for supervising a team of inspectors, managing work schedules, and ensuring that all materials have a valid inspection plan in our ERP system. You'll also be responsible for setting up and maintaining Quality Inspection Plans (QIPs) based on relevant specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities
  1. Supervise a team of inspectors and manage their work schedules.
  2. Ensure that all materials have a valid inspection plan in the ERP system.
  3. Set up and maintain Quality Inspection Plans (QIPs) based on relevant specifications and drawings.
  4. Ensure that documentations are understood by local teams of Controllers.
  5. Ensure availability of necessary equipment for incoming inspection area.
  6. Basic maintenance and care for all measuring equipment.
  7. Ensure competencies of Team by appropriate training.
  8. Management of Interplant complaint process.
  9. Supports inspection of incoming goods according defined QIP and relevant specifications.
  10. Ensures storing and availability of Certificate of Compliance records for incoming material.
  11. Communicates to relevant functions to help inspectors in case of unclear requirements.
  12. Responsible Quality contact for blocked stock review.
  13. Responsible Quality contact for scrap approval referring Incoming Inspection.
  14. Assist inspectors in quality evaluation and other work-related requests.
  15. Responsible for Incoming Quality Assurance reporting needs.
Requirements
  1. At least 4 years of experience within related industry.
  2. Leadership experience in manufacturing environment.
  3. Lean Manufacturing and Problem-Solving tools expertise.
  4. Handling of non-conforming material.
  5. Incoming inspection Process and robust containment actions.
  6. Demonstrated skills in driving actions for containing quality spills, coordinating suppliers, Third party companies, and production internal quality and materials teams.
  7. Working knowledge in production environment.
  8. Ability to work with a multifunctional team.
  9. Thorough knowledge of Problem-Solving tools.
  10. Knowledge using process improvement techniques and methodologies.
  11. Software, SAP, and MS Office skills.
  12. Basic knowledge in statistical software.
  13. Advanced Knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and reading technical drawings.
  14. Experience handling measurement equipment, and performing measurements.
  15. Assertive communication and leadership skills.
  16. Knowledge on ISO9001.
