We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at DCV Technologies.

Job Description:

About the Role

As a Cybersecurity DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining secure systems with RHEL (minimum RHCE level). You will be responsible for managing and automating tasks using Ansible, enhancing processes with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Bash, Python), and implementing Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Designing, building, and maintaining secure systems with RHEL (minimum RHCE level).
  • TASK Automation: Managing and automating tasks using Ansible.
  • Process Enhancement: Enhancing processes with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Pipeline Implementation: Implementing Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines to streamline operations.
  • SUPPORT AND TROUBLESHOOTING: Troubleshooting and optimizing IP networking protocols and technologies.

Requirements

Essential Skills

  • RHEL Expertise: Strong expertise in RHEL at a minimum of RHCE level.
  • IP Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of IP networking protocols, tools, and technologies.
  • Ansible Proficiency: Proficiency in Ansible for task automation.
  • Scripting Languages: Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash and Python.
  • CI/CD Tools: Knowledge of CI/CD tools for process automation.
  • Vulnerability Management: Good grasp of Vulnerability Management and Change Management workflows.

Optional/Nice to Have

  • Windows Server OS: Knowledge of Windows Server OS.
  • Database Engines: Experience with database engines like MSSQL (including always-on) and PostgreSQL.
  • Cloud Platforms: Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Ali) with a focus on automation and lifecycle management.
  • Cloud Database Implementations: Experience with cloud-based database implementations.
  • Observability Tools: Skills in observability tools such as Application Dynamics, Splunk, xMatters.
  • Containerization and Virtualization: Implementing scalable and resilient platforms using technologies like containers and virtualization.
  • Secrets Management: Familiarity with secrets management tools (HashiCorp Vault) and source code management technologies (Git).
  • Agile Environment: Working in Agile environments with tools like Jira and ServiceNow.
  • Coding and Scripting: Coding, scripting, and database management expertise (e.g., SQL, GitHub, and best practices).

Salary: Approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per annum based on location and experience
