About the Role

We are seeking an experienced FP&A Director to join our team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our FP&A COE OPEX Team, you will be responsible for ensuring proactive and timely high-quality forecasting, reporting, and analysis in the OPEX spend. You will work closely with business partners to provide flawless reporting, data, and insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of managers and analysts
  • Manage transitions of activities from local finance into center of excellence FP&A structures
  • Serve as a key business partner to leadership teams, providing high-quality financial information and insights
  • Build strong relationships with business partner FP&A teams to enable the flow of information and knowledge sharing
  • Design and maintain cost KPIs and benchmarking analysis
  • Implement and maintain standard FP&A processes within managed domains
  • Support the month-end close process from an FP&A perspective
  • Summarize key findings to support discussions and decision-making with the business
  • Identify and execute improvement potential in financial planning and reporting processes
  • Build analytical capabilities within CoE beyond P&L analysis
  • Drive process simplification initiatives and collaborate across boundaries

Requirements

  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in a large corporate or relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years of leading a team
  • Superior problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Progressive experience and deep understanding of the business from a finance perspective
  • Working experience with financial control, management reporting, and business analyses
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Intellectual capacity to digest complex information and translate it into concrete actions
