Job DescriptionAs Business Development Manager - Waitrose Account, you will serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters and build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. You will negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits, ensuring timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
You will clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, develop new business with existing clients, and identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas while collaborating with the sales team to develop growth opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Prior experience in a similar National Accounts/Business Account Manager position within a FMCG or Food manufacturing business
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and Board level
- Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities

This is a fast-paced role, where the successful candidate will have proven work experience either as an Account Manager, National Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or as a Buyer within the Food Manufacturing or FMCG sector who is looking to develop their career.
