Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Lead to develop and execute commercial strategies for our HR services categories.

This role will involve setting long-term procurement objectives, influencing business stakeholders, and developing relationships with senior leadership.

The successful candidate will lead supplier negotiations, ensuring strategic contractual relationships with minimal risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement procurement category strategies to achieve cost reductions.
  • Develop and manage a diverse supply base to meet changing category requirements.
  • Lead complex sourcing projects, including RFx processes and contract negotiations.
  • Provide expert advice on purchasing, technical, and legal issues.
  • Maintain governance over best practices and purchasing policies.
  • Manage category spend, savings forecasting, and reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business.
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement category management or equivalent.
  • Strong business acumen and experience managing complex strategic sourcing projects.
  • Experience working in large, complex, global businesses.
  • Proficiency in running RFx processes and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to interact with and present to VP-level stakeholders.
  • Core analytical skills to independently investigate unclear areas and make sense of them.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
