About the Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team as a Backend Architect. As a key member of our tech department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend systems using modern technologies.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience with Python, Django REST framework, and cloud-based infrastructure. You will work closely with our product manager, UX designers, and other teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality APIs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing microservices within an event-based architecture using Django Rest Framework and Python.
  • Developing and deploying your own code continuously, employing a DevOps mindset where you are responsible for your change from commit to production.
  • Ensuring quality by writing automated unit- and integration tests.
  • Working with primary components of our tech stack including Docker swarm, Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Postgre SQL Server, MySQL and Elasticsearch.
Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with Python and Django REST framework.
  • Testing proficiency, both automatic and manual.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Experience with Linux, Docker, Docker swarm, Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform.
