We are seeking a skilled Master ROV Tooling Engineer to join our team at TechnipFMC, a global leader in the energy industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to shaping the future of subsea engineering.

Job Description

This is a workshop-based position with occasional trips offsite/offshore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in offshore/subsea operations, particularly in ROV tooling, and be able to lead regional efforts, innovate, and strategize to drive remote intervention tooling solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure project factory acceptance tests and system integrations tests for remote intervention tooling interfaces are complete and executed according to plan.
  • Assist in readiness reviews to ensure tooling is available for projects.
  • Keep TPFMC tooling up to industry standards.
  • Advise on tooling upgrades to enhance TPFMC offshore operations.
  • Support projects by ensuring correct ROV tooling from 3rd party rental companies is delivered and returned to minimize costs.
  • Review and comment on general installation and testing procedures to confirm ROV tooling suitability.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • More than 5 years of experience in offshore/subsea operations with a focus on ROV operations and tooling.
  • The ability to obtain necessary certifications and medical requirements.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • A strong understanding of Subsea Umbilical's, Risers, and Flowline (SURF) infrastructure and SPS (Subsea Production Systems).
  • Familiarity with ROV capabilities, operations, and collaboration with vessel teams.
  • Good planning, organizational, and time management skills.
