We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Operations Lead to join our Global HRIS & Payroll team at Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. This role will be responsible for overseeing and directing day-to-day payroll procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing of EMEA payroll.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency of payroll operations within the EMEA region and in alignment with global standards.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations within the EMEA region.
  • Partner with other EMEA functional leads to ensure the accuracy of all payroll data, including record-keeping, withholding, reporting, reconciliation, and auditing.
  • Work closely with external payroll vendors to maintain positive relationships and support ongoing collaboration.
  • Provide training and mentoring to the EMEA operational payroll team.
  • Ensure employee inquiries are promptly resolved within the EMEA region.
  • Review EMEA payroll reports and ensure accurate and timely filing with appropriate governmental authorities.
  • Support payroll-related special projects, including payroll system implementations, process improvements, and integration of new countries and entities.
  • Execute EMEA operational controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for the EMEA payroll team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive payroll experience, with at least 5 years in a lead or supervisory role overseeing EMEA payroll.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or other similar international certification preferred.
