About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to join our Commercial Risk department in Cracow, Poland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating finance activities, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify information received from insurers against system records
  • Perform calculations using available system information
  • Analyse booking differences, brokerage and commission differences, and manage intercompany payments
  • Work closely with local teams to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Cooperate with team coordinator and other teams to meet service level agreements
  • Suggest and implement changes to tools and documentation to support effective service delivery
  • Transition processing scope to newly built teams in Krakow/Poland
  • Develop, track, and report metrics/performance on various business situations/projects

Requirements

  • English and Dutch language proficiency at least B2 level
  • 1-2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Strong Excel skills and analytical skills with focus on technical accounting rules
  • Ability to manage high-volume transactions in fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and openness to new challenges and tasks
  • Willingness to improve and automate work
