As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the Catena-X ecosystem, a digital platform for cross-industry data exchange and collaboration in the automotive industry. This platform aims to improve efficiency and innovation by enabling secure sharing and access to data between partners and suppliers, facilitating real-time information exchange and streamlined processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be involved in developing the EDC connector from companies to the Catena-X network, focusing on easier implementation and usability.
  • You will enhance use cases related to business partner data management, traceability, and engineering.
  • You will support operation topics within the team.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, (industrial) engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a software developer.
  • Deep knowledge of web development with Full-Stack programming, preferably Java as the main language, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python.
  • Profound experience in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying software.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with external development teams to ensure smooth integration of various systems.
  • Good knowledge of APIs and system integrations.
  • Contribution to open-source projects, particularly within the Eclipse Foundation or similar associations.
  • A solution-oriented, structured, and self-organized way of working.
  • Fluency in English; German is a nice-to-have skill.

We offer a competitive salary of around $120,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.
