Amentum seeks a seasoned linguist program manager to join its team in support of the European Command (EUCOM). This individual will oversee logistics management and linguist support services, including interpretation, translation, and transcription of information. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, fluency in a Slavic or East European language, and experience working within United States Army Europe and Africa.

Job Description

As Senior Linguist Program Manager for EUCOM, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Program Manager with daily site operations and resourcing requirements within designated areas
  • Coordinating day-to-day operational activities at respective sites
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for the respective site(s)
  • E nsuring that operational processes meet performance/mission requirements

Key Qualifications

  • Government security clearance may be required
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Human Resources, or related field; or Associate degree (or European equivalent) in any field plus 5 years' experience as an interpreter, translator, ESL instructor, or linguist supervisor
  • Fluency in C2/C2 level in a Slavic or East European language (Ukrainian, Polish, Russian, Serbian/Bosnian/Croatian, Bulgarian, Czech, Slovak, Slovenian, Albanian, Hungarian, or Romanian)
  • Minimum 5 years of management/administrative experience within USAREUR required
  • Prior experience as an interpreter, translator, ESL instructor, or linguist supervisor in EUCOM Theater area of operations preferred
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interface with military officials, managers, and subordinates

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
