Network Administrator Job Description

PAYBACK is a leading multi-partner loyalty program operating in various international markets. As a key player, we strive to deliver exceptional services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize and automate Cisco Catalyst/Nexus Switches and Palo Alto firewalls to ensure seamless network operations.
  • Develop and implement the Global Protect Client VPN infrastructure, adhering to security best practices to safeguard our company network.
  • Design and implement IPSec VPNs or leased lines for external connections to remote sites or public cloud environments.
  • Monitor the network infrastructure using Checkmk, Grafana, and Kibana to ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze network traffic, generate reports, and troubleshoot issues to maintain productive operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and partners through phone calls and ITIL-based ticket systems to drive project success.
Requirements:
  • Completed education in computer science or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in the IT sector with expertise in current network technologies.
  • Familiarity with network automation and development of special interfaces (APIs) to create a central automatic database of assets and networks.
  • Experience with ITIL processes (Incident/Problem/Change Management) and collaboration tools (M365, JIRA, Wiki).
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for collaborative teamwork.
  • Openness to on-call duty and excellent English language skills.
