Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Consultant to join our team in HCL Poland.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting web application security assessments, identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities, and providing recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough security assessments of web applications using black/gray/white box techniques
  • Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in API (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON) testing activities
  • Perform external and internal infrastructure penetration testing
  • Assess and scope application security penetration test requirements
  • Write comprehensive penetration testing reports, including technical and management sections

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in penetration testing with a focus on web application security
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Qualys, Kali Linux, POSTMAN, SOAPUI, and HCL App Scan
  • CEH certification is mandatory; e WAPT, ECSA, OSCP, GWAPT, and e WPTX certifications are desired

Vulnerability Management Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in vulnerability management using Qualys
  • Working knowledge of Qualys authentication, asset tags, asset groups, option profiles, reporting templates, policy compliance templates, scanning schedules, and agent deployment
  • Ability to create and provide vulnerability remediation updates to customers

Person Specification:

  • Excellent communication and customer-handling skills
  • Desirable: Qualys Vulnerability Management and Qualys Policy Compliance certifications
