Job Overview:

The Payroll Specialist plays a critical role in our HR Shared Services team, responsible for all payroll, pension, leave, insurance, and other related tasks for countries within their scope. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication to manage and process payroll activities efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process accurate monthly payrolls and validate results.
  • Calculate statutory and occupational sickness payments, maternity, paternity, and handle benefit expenses.
  • Collaborate with Social Security Institutions and Tax Offices.
  • Maintain disability fund submissions on e-Pfron and prepare reports for Statistical Offices.
  • Assist in preparing annual declarations PIT and insurance confirmations.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries, ensuring a positive customer experience through our HR ticketing system.
  • Manage payroll-related Key Performance Indicators and reporting.
  • Provide administrative support to local management and HR colleagues on payroll, pension, and insurance matters.
  • Liaise with pension and insurance providers for operational issues.
  • Review and process timesheets and work records as required.
  • Review and process leave records as required.
  • Ensure overtime, benefits, and bonus data are up-to-date.
  • Review payroll actuals.
  • Support HR-related budget control in assigned countries.
  • Participate in audits related to payroll or payroll systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience processing Polish payroll.
  • Familiarity with key HR competencies and processes, including compensation, performance management, talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, hire-to-retire events, and learning & development.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills (multilingual preferred).
  • Intermediate business level in German.
